| 1. Do I need an appointment? [top]
Yes you do need an appointment. This allows us to provide you with a more personal service experience and allows more time to help you find everything you need for your dream wedding. Please remember, we occasionally run behind during busy times but we will do everything possible to make your wait a short one.
Walk-in customers are always welcome but please keep in mind we do get busy and you may experience longer wait times.

| 2. What about special orders?

Bridal gowns and veils, as well as your selections for bridesmaids, mothers and formal occasions like graduation, are special orders. These garments are cut and prepared to the manufacturer's delivery schedule, which is usually 12 to 16 weeks.
Please Remember: "Special Order" does not mean custom order and may require alterations.

Faster delivery is often available for an additional fee imposed by the manufacturers. This special service is generally a seven-week delivery schedule and the fee does not include rush freight charges.

All sales are final. This final sale policy is consistent with the industry standard for bridal and special occasion apparel.

Let our experts size you for the closest fit. All manufacturers have their own size charts and it is not always as simple as using measurements. Please note that this is not a made-to-measure process, so alterations may be required.

A highly skilled seamstress provides alteration services at Anna’s Couture.

| 8. When is the first fitting?

Please make an appointment for your initial fitting your dress is in. Be sure to bring or purchase the right underwear, as well as shoes, so that the gown can be fitted precisely. This will save you time and money on additional alterations.

Your subsequent fitting should be arranged right after your first. We will provide you with an estimate time for the alterations at this time. Please discuss with us any additional details or concerns you have.

How do I take care of the gown? [top]
As part of our complete bridal service, we steaming services just prior to your wedding and provide you with a protective plastic sleeve for transporting your garment. We suggest that you remove the sleeve and hang the garment carefully at home so that it will require minimal attention before you wear it.

| 11. What are the responsibilities of the bridesmaids?

Although being a member of the bridal party is an honor, it is also a responsibility, and your bridesmaids can incur substantial expense. No matter how much they wish to, some friends and family may be unable to accept your invitation to be in the wedding party. Your gracious words of understanding and ongoing friendship will be much appreciated.
The Bridesmaids should also expect to/want to assist you with the wedding preparation. Be specific in your expectations, explain which expenses you will be covering and what she will pay for (gown, shoes, jewelry, hair, nails and in some cases travel costs. Also consider the time factor; often 2 dress fitting appointments are required too). Clear understanding can prevent hard feelings and preserve cherished relationships.
The obvious expenses are the Bridal shower and Wedding gifts, and in the case of the Maid of Honor, perhaps hosting the Bridal shower too.

12. Am I allowed to take pictures of the gowns while I try them on? [top]
Anna's Couture does not allow you to take pictures unless you purchase the gown. After you purchase the gown, you can take as many pictures as you like.

13. Can I complete my entire bridal look (gown, headpiece, veil, shoes, accessories) in one appointment? [top]
Anna’s Couture can complete your entire look in one appointment.
Our bridal consultant will work with help you find the perfect veil,
headpiece, shoes, and accessories to match your dress.

14. Can I get a swatch of the colour of my gown after I order it? [top]
A swatch will be provided to you when your actual dress comes in or
at your first fitting. It is best to get a swatch from your actual dress
because dye lots vary and we want the swatch to match perfectly.

15. Is there any other colour I could wear besides white and still look like a bride? [top]
Lately many brides are incorporating color into their gowns. You
can have colorful embroidery and beading or simply have a color sash. You
also do not have to wear a white gown. Most designers offer different shades
of white, ivory, and champagne. We have a selection of gowns with color as
well as gowns that can be customized to have color accents of your choice.

16. When should I begin dress shopping? [top]
It is best to start looking for gowns 6 to 9 months prior to your
wedding date. The majority of our brides begin shopping 1 year ahead. That
allows you enough time to narrow down your selection and order the gown of
your dreams. Don't let the time bracket worry you because even if you do not
have that much time there are a few different ways that Anna’s Couture can
accommodate you. All our designer collection can fill a rush orders.

17. What should I bring to my Bridal Fitting? [top]
At your fittings, you need to bring your shoes and undergarments
that you will be wearing on your wedding day. . Anna’s Couture has a great
selection of shoes, and accessories for you to choose from, before your
first fitting appointment. It is necessary for your fitter to do the hemline
and fit the bodice of your gown with the actual undergarments and shoes you
will be wearing on your wedding day.

18. When should schedule my First Bridal Fitting? [top]
We will call you as soon as we receive your gown from the designer.
At that time you can schedule a fitting appointment with us. Generally,
fittings are done one month to two weeks prior to your wedding. You usually
need 1 maybe 2 fittings, to perfect the gown, after which it will be pressed
and packed and ready for you to take home. |
